Semenetz Leads Drexel Golf to Second Place Finish at Scotty Duncan Memorial Tournament

Stanton, Del. – The Drexel golf team played in the Scotty Duncan Memorial Tournament this weekend at White Clay Creek Golf Course and finished in second place. Drexel sophomore Sean Semenetz (Tyler Hill, Pa./Sullivan West) tied for fourth overall with a two-day total of 155 on the par-72, 7,007-yard course.
The Dragons Steve Ransom (Cape May, N.J./Lower Cape May) also had a solid tournament. He finished just one shot behind Semenetz and finished in sole possessioin of sixth place. Senior Jack Wallace also placed in the top 10 with a 158, which tied him for ninth place.

The Dragons opened the tournament with a 313 and finished the event with a 632, 15 strokes behind Delaware. Goldey-Beacom College placed third and Temple finished fourth,
